African Folktales
AFRICAN FOLKTALES
Following the absolute success of Multi-Marketing’s Annual Flagship publication – The Multi-Marketing Anthology – a brand new annual anthology was proposed with a more home-grown feel, which, while targeted at South Africa and the continent of Africa at large to share their own stories (simultaneously re-africanising local literature) also transcends national and continental bounds by taking our stories to the world thanks to the international publication reach of Multi-Marketing.
If you are a citizen who was born and/or raised in the beautiful continent of Africa, you automatically qualify to share your local, home-grown stories to be published in the African Folktales Anthology powered by Multi-Marketing & Book Bank South Africa.
The African Folktales Anthology follows the same procedure as the annual flagship Multi-Marketing Anthology, the only difference being the criteria of Short Stories/Folktales and the African-only inspired theme.
TO ENTER:
- You may submit a minimum of 1 short story/African folktale and a maximum of 3 short stories/African folktales (no longer than 12 pages each)

IMPORTANT: After your receive your copy, it is just as much your duty to market the anthology as available on mmstore.co.za and amazon.com as much as it is the duty of Multi-Marketing to do the same. Through combined efforts, the anthology will sell. It is not the sole duty of Multi-Marketing to market the anthology.
Multi-Marketing will offer you opportunities to market the anthology on our social media platforms such as reaching out to arrange a LIVE interview on our Facebook Page and physical gigs to appear and sign copies for potential customers.
After the pay-out threshold has been reached (thanks to a collective marketing effort by Multi-Marketing AND the authors involved), only then can royalties be paid out in an equal sum to all the authors involved as each contributed an equal amount to have it published.
REMEMBER: No Sales=No Royalties
