Amazon Publishing

Almost every author dreams of seeing their book featured on a well-known global platform such as Amazon. Multi-Marketing makes it simple and easy with no fuss.

If you have tried to publish before on Amazon, you may notice that it is quite a process, with some very specific dimensions required in order for their system to accept your file in terms of how the book should be formatted for both the Kindle and Paperback options and they will not accept just any file format – which is why it is important that your book be accurately produced with the correct specs in order for the upload process to be smooth sailing.

If you are an author who has been published via Multi-Marketing, you will automatically get your book published on Amazon, as a part of our publishing process, so you need not worry about those tedious details.

However, if you are self-published or have been published by another publishing house, the process might be a little different.

If your files were produced by another publishing house, you would need to obtain these files from them, if they had provided eBook Conversion files for Amazon as part of the publishing process they underwent with your book. Generally, if you had paid for the publishing process, they would hand over these files to you as you are the owner of the intellectual property, otherwise, if you had it traditionally published, you would need to seek their permission before proceeding on this step. In the case that they hand over the correct files to you, we would be able to do the uploading on your behalf.

If you are a self-published author who did not go through a publishing house, then you would be lucky if you are able to produce these files yourself or find someone to do that for you. Alternatively, we can do this for you, but of course, as with everything in life – nothing is free.

Whether you provide an open-format or a PDF file, we would need to recreate the interior layout and cover on our software, then be able to export the eBook files for Amazon specs for both Kindle and Paperback formats. As such, we have to charge a layout fee and a conversion fee together – which at this point in time costs around R5499 or R6499 depending on the complexity of the book we are converting files to Amazon specs for – the team can advise better in such a situation. The actual upload in this case is FREE. Regrettably, no instalment plans are available for this service.

All you would need to do is fill out a Questionnaire form whereby you fill in all the details of your book which we would need in order to proceed with the upload of your book and provide the files needed for us to create the Amazon spec files of your book.
