1. Introduce yourself, who is Johara Fathima Shaik?
I am an 11 year old girl in grade 7.
2. When & how did you start writing and drawing?
When I was about 9 years old I used to make up poems in my head and say them. Then my mother told me I should jot them down and draw some pictures next to them.
3. What do you hope people will gain from reading your poems and short stories?
For poems, I hope people find it funny especially 'The Nerd'.
For stories, I think children would like them because they are fictional and I really hope people find inspiration and learn a moral from my stories.
4. What do you want to achieve in the future?
I want to write a book and publish it and hopefully become a well-known poetess and authoress.
5. How have people around you reacted to you being published?
I received a lot of hugs and way more impressed faces.
6. What advice would you give you to other aspiring writers and artists like yourself out there?
They should be themselves when writing.
7. What is your one message or anything you would like to say to anyone who reads this interview?
