Poetry In Motion

POETRY IN MOTION
Poetry In Motion is an annual Stage Poets competition held once every year by Multi-Marketing in an effort to bring more poets to the fore, give poetry (especially in South Africa and broader) a wider platform, give poets exclusive opportunities to get their work seen and heard and eventually get published without the high cost of self-publishing alone.
Following an open round of qualifiers via email, the competition proceeds to knockout rounds where our followers on social media will vote and decide who goes on to the finals. Selected stage poets will be added to a group and will submit their 3-minute poetry recitals to a Multi-Marketing appointed mobile WhatsApp number which they will be provided with and these will be posted up on social media for our followers to vote on based on how many likes/hearts it gets on our chosen platform.
There will be at least 2 videos posted every few days with a clear deadline of when voting ends and whichever video (of a poetry recital) gets the most likes on our singular selected social media platform will proceed to the next round while the other is eliminated from the competition.
This continues until 1 competitor remains, who will win the prize of FREE Publication of their poetry in the following year’s flagship publication, the Multi-Marketing Anthology.
