Why is your manuscript needed for a quote?

 

The first step is to ensure that you have the manuscript typed out on a Microsoft Word document and have easy and readily available access to email and internet connection. These are essential tools for communication during the publishing process.

To kick-start the process, you need to send your manuscript as an attachment to info@multimarketing.co.za and request that you would like to get published and provide some information about the manuscript you are attaching (e.g. is it fiction or non-fiction, a short summary of what it is about, a short author bio etc).

It is important for authors to not hold back or feel apprehensive with regards to sending a legitimate publishing house such as Multi-Marketing your manuscript. A publishing house cannot steal your work and publish it as ours for a myriad of reasons – first of all, there is proof on email that it is your work that you sent to us with the purpose of assessment and quotation for publication, therefore we would be held legally responsible if we were to steal your work and secondly, as a self-publishing company, we do not have the upfront funds to publish your book, as such we are not capable of publishing it without your blessing or your funds – another reason why going with a self-publishing option is probably in your best interests, especially if you are a first-time author, as mentioned before, you are guided on every step of the way.
